What you'd actually be doing.
Here's exactly what the role involves, so you know what you're saying yes to before you apply.
What you're selling
EverLife is an insurance broker. You'll be selling all types of health and life insurance, matching clients with the carrier and plan that fits them, not pushing one product.
Who you'd talk to
People who've already requested information about coverage. You're not knocking doors or cold-calling strangers.
Where you work
Fully virtual. A laptop, a phone, and a quiet room to take calls is the whole setup.
How you're paid
We'll walk through all of it on the call, in writing if you ask.
Your commission terms
Understand how your commission rate is determined.
Your commission calculation
Learn how your commissions are calculated.
Your payment schedule
Learn when your commissions become payable.
What to know before you decide.
Leads, explained up front.
People who've asked about coverage, not cold lists. On the call we'll tell you where leads come from, whether they're shared, and what, if anything, they cost you.
Support on your calls.
On the info call, ask how you'll be supported in your sales conversations.
Work remotely.
You'll need a computer, a phone, a quiet place to take calls, and the right state licenses. We'll go over licensing and location requirements on the call.
Get a clear explanation of how your commissions work.
Your results will vary, and you may earn no income. We'll show you how commissions, advances and chargebacks work before you decide.
Training and coaching.
On the call, ask what training and coaching look like in your first 30 days.
What happens on the call.
About 30–40 minutes, live on Zoom. A straight walkthrough, plus time for your questions.
We cover what the role is, how pay works, and what a normal week looks like.
You'll hear what licensing and onboarding involve, state by state.
Open Q&A. Ask anything, including the questions people usually feel awkward asking.
